That is spectacular!!! Some of my most prized possessions are pieces (wooden) that my father made for me. You certainly have a treasure there.

How special! Hope you have a photo of her, the cabinet and you together. I would make a label for it and frame or put on back similar to what we do with quilts. Surely that will be a treasured heirloom handed down through the family for generations. Begin to document the history with a written history & photos.

Cherish forever this loving gift made by your very talented Mom.
