And an awesome sense of humor. I love it. I think I'd call her Slim.

That looks like a fashion model pose to me. How about Gisele Threadkin?

I LOVE that! I like "Threadna," too.

I would like to buy one with two cone holders and both hands held up in the air so she can handle two threads at a time. If he would be interested in making me one, please message me with his email address so I can arrange to send him payment, etc.

He could make a pretty good chunk of change making these.

For those interested, I'm not sure what he would have to charge. And shipping....it's a heavy buger! He has 3 "jobs" lined up. He'll be putting in cabinets for someone. He didn't say what the other two were. He's also planning to build some gates for DH (we live on a farm). We're hoping a full time job will turn up soon....with good medical insurance!

Wished he lived near me...right now I need a plumber, electrician, painter and carpenter!! I could keep him busy.

You need to buy him a welder...does he have a birthday coming up? Hint, Hint!! I would definitely buy one if he wanted to take orders!! He is very very talented!!

That thread holder is adorable! The name which occurred to me was "Pleasant". You have received many great name suggestions here---I especially like Threadna! Your son could certainly sell many of these if he placed tham at local quilt shops and craft shows. Since he's out of work at the moment, he could potentially make some money, provided they don't take too long to make and he can get the materials at a reasonable price. I wish him well!
