Looking for 70s fabric
#5
etsy sellers often have vintage fabrics.
be careful though...sometimes they can be insanely expensive.
depending on what you are looking for and why, there are lots of repro fabrics from all eras. and then there's thrifting. so if you are looking for 70's colourways lots of people send their old linens to goodwill etc.

Come over to my place, I have tons of them. Mostly what you will find are old VIP prints and Cranston. To me, they look most like what I would call calicos. There were NOT the number of manufacturers as there are now a day.

Have I got a piece of fabric for you! Kittens and puppies on a cream background, kittens and puppies are red and blue. I don't know the manufacturer off the top of my head but it is from 1972 or 1974. The date is on the selvedge.

Carmen,
I may have that fabric. Can you send a link to the picture? Mine is colorful troll dolls on a white background. I purchased it at a garage sale a couple of months ago. How much yardage do you need? Tomorrow I am at guild charity quilting, but will be home in the late afternoon.
