I use Bohn Pins. They're from France. I use them to pin my quilts onto my LongArm. They are really good quality pins. My neighbor actually gave them to me when I bought my LongArm. So try google to see where they can be purchased.

I like the yellow ball top the best. They are the strongest (IMHO) tho not heat resistant.

This is an interesting thread, we all have different preferences. I use large corsage pins on my long arm, when piecing I use the button head pins or flower head pins. I haven't found one I'm in love with yet. Maybe I will get good suggestions here.

Iris pins are very good. They are very thin but strong.

IBC glass headed pins are also very good.

My favorites are Clover Needlecraft quilting pins (Fine). They are very thin, fine, blue and yellow glass head pins. They go like butter through everything.

I too use these exclusively. The ones I have are Collins 1 7/8" long. They are sharp, fine and fairly strong. I only use the long plastic head pins on the Voyager.

I have a lot of different pins, mostly left over from years of sewing and I use them. Not sure what I would buy when I need to.

I use corsage pins as well. I get them at Hobby Lobby in the bridal area.
