Default Looking for this Christmas pattern...

You guys are so good at finding things. This was on Pinterest, and when I follow it, itjust goes to a ping image. Look familiar to anyone? Thanks as always! The flying geese blocks have me baffled.....

What a nice pattern.
While shown in a Christmas setting, it certainly would be a nice wintry quilt, or even all year long.

The flying geese would be made in the same manner, except you have the overlap at the top to give that bigger sky/background space. You could do it by traditional piecing, by snowballing the corners (in a sense). I see that is the way they have done the top of the tree.

Another way would be to make QSTs with 3-sections in the background, then cut off the excess to make your rectangle. Though, to me, that would be a lot of work, to do and then cut off.

If it were me, the quickest and easiest way would be draw it all out on graph paper, and make the geese as PP units.

After that, then join it together with a whole bunch of HSTs.

Not that I need another idea ...... but............. yes, you just gave me another one!

Look forward to seeing your quilt.
It'll be a nice project to work on at this time of the year.
Then to enjoy for years to come.

Perhaps you could post the link ...
.... I just may purchase it to have it waiting in the wings for times of nothing to do.
(As though that will ever happen!! ... but always good to dream!)

I will private message the link to you- not sure if its ok to post.....and yes, this will be a project waiting in the wings....I have just finished a marathon Christmas sewing month, and I hope to tackle Bonnie Hunter’s mysteryquilt ( in Christmas colors of course!) after the holidays.

Please post the link. You can't post a picture of someone else's work, but a link is always okay.

Thanks .... glad you posted it for everyone to benefit.
I'll need to search for it now, via Canadian options.

After reading the description associated with the link you provided it doesn't say anything about patterns. It says the book is a scrapbook of idea's for placement of small quilts (etc) through out your home. I would have searched Pam Bono books for the pattern as her name is on the leaflet.
