Default Looking for Christmas tree skirt pattern

My DIL has a quilted CTS pattern, which I would love to have/make. It is a dresdon type pattern with points. The center is the hole for the tree. Her skirt was made for her by her sister some 15 years ago. It is done in stripes cut on an angle so that when you put them together they form a beautiful chevron pattern. Thanks for your help.

I think I've seen something similar with the wedge rulers? I think it was in the book, Quilts without Corners by Cheryl Phillips?

I made several of these, but sorry -- no real pattern. What I used was an idea on the back of the Marilyn Doheny 9 degree circle wedge ruler. To make the hole for the tree, just don't put the circle in the center -- and the points are one option for the finished top. I did a couple as QAYG and made them completely reversible. I also bought the extension for the 9 degree ruler since DD wanted one that was much bigger than the 50" diameter that you get with just the regular ruler.
