Connecting Threads has some beautiful jewel tone batiks - check out their online catalog - $5.96 a yard. Not the heavy tightly woven quality of the Bali and Indonesian batikes, but those are $12.95 a yard now. CT fabric if fine for a quilt.

If you are looking for batiks, try Mary Jo's Cloth Store. They have a great selection and under $7 a yard.
