Default Looking for a lost quilt

A friend shared this post from her area of a quilt that has gone missing from the Elora, Ontario area. It appears it may have been accidentally donated. It's a family memory quilt and people are reaching out in hopes of getting it back to its rightful owner. Originally posted on Facebook on October 11th. Thanks for keeping your eyes and ears open for news.

So sad for the family with hopes that spreading the word will help to find it.

Isn't there a site for Lost Quilts out there? I thought there was. A place to list them.

I just finished reading A Quilter's Legacy which is book #5 in the Elm Creek Quilt series and a woman is searching for her mother's long lost quilts. Did you google to see if there is a website for lost quilts where you can post a picture? I hope you find your quilt. It would be heart breaking to lose a family keepsake.

I believe that the web site Quilt Blocks Galore has an spot where you can list ( w/ picture) your missing quilts. Hope you find it.

Thanks for the good ideas, everyone - I've passed them on and hopefully the quilt will show up soon!

Gemm….Instagram is another place to post a picture and tag the different IG groups. This totally sucks so I hope it can be recovered..

"Lost Quilt Come Home," has a blog, Facebook and Instagram where you can search.

    Good Luck!
