Default Looking for fast, easy Christmas quilted ornaments to make

I need patterns or information about small, easy, fairly fast-to-make ornaments which I will be giving away, sending some through the mail. I think there were some posted last year but I didn't save the thread(s).
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Until Nov. 6, www.quiltersnewsletter has a Web Extra of paper pieced blocks that I am doing for tree ornaments. You click on Web Extras and then Christmas Flag. There are tiny trees, snowflakes, gingerbread man, presents, ornaments, candy canes, snowflakes Christmas lights etc.

I will check it out. I am "paper pieced challenged" but might be able to try it again.

Just google "quilted Christmas ornament." You may also use any small block--perhaps a four patch or a pinwheel-- in about a 3 or 4" size. Treat it with a small 1/2" border, quilt and bind, and add a hanging (ribbon or similar to potholder with binding. If you don't want to bind, just made the border a bit bigger, add back, sew around leaving turning space. Turn and attach a hanger. I've made some put on point. You can add a tassel or jingle bell at bottom point. You might also consider making small versions of the little Criss-Cross Coaster (again do a Google search.) There are many many on the web and some beautiful ones posted in the board exchange. Good luck. I love handmade ornaments.

Thank you marymm. I do like the idea of a small quilt block. That would be good for all these little scraps I can't seem to throw away.
