Stof are a Danish company. My LQS used stock quite a lot before they closed (nothing to do with Stof, lol).

Thanks for the links! I wrote to The Village Haberdashery in the UK and it mentioned Dashwood Studio and C.Pauli.

As an aside: I teach ESL and had a student from Japan. She wore the more interesting modern designed and printed clothing.

    Thanks Knitette!

The Stof company has some really interesting prints. I'm hoping to find some US shops that stock them. It looks as if some of the major companies order from Stof (Studio E, Windham, Hofmann).

Thanks Sandy. I've seen Leicen but not Quilt Gate. I really like the cat prints.

Cannyquilter, thanks so much for the link.

Fabric Freedom indeed has interesting designs. It even offers free patterns for the line. There is a page of UK shops carrying the line too. I can see where I will be surfing this week. :0) The current strength of the US dollar will help offset the shipping costs.

One question: Many of the colors look muted. Is that my monitor or the actual tone of the fabric print?

This link shows how some of the fabric has been used outside of the quilting arena: http://www.refreshedfabricart.co.uk/

    I love the furniture!

Thanks Trisha. I've seen some of these prints before but not the entire line.

I've had some neutrals from fabric freedom and the colours have depth to them. I've also had some lime green fabric and it is bright but not garish. Thanks for the link to refreshed fabric I've not heard of them but I only live about 45minutes away so I'll have to look them up.

    http://www.fabrictales.com/index.html was advertised on quiltshops.com.

It's a direct seller from Japan.

Has anyone had any experience with this company?

Think it is your monitor. If I were to be asked to name a range that was muted, I'd immediately say Moda (just my opinion). This is a quilt I made some time ago from their Deco Delight rang (free pattern), but you may also think it's muted too. Happy quilting!
