I love the borders on that one - hoping they aren't paper pieced.

Oohh, I like that BOM too! I printed off July's and saved the l ink to my favorites. I think I'll do it like I'm going to do the Baltimore Bliss. Save the patterns and then do the quilt all at once.

Great Colletta, hope you share it when you do.

My oldest daughter LOVES patriotic things, she even has a tatoo of a stylized flag across her lower back. She wants an Americana quilt but she doesn't like the off-white that I am using in mine, she likes bright white.

I'm sure she'd like this one if I used white...

Go to Quilter's Cache site; all kind of blocks there. One of my favorite sites to go to and free too.

El Burns has a book called Victory Quilts that chronicals world war 2. Its a great quilt that has two sizes. 6 inch and 12 inch blocks.
The fabrics that go with it are great also. Got the fat quarters on sale at her web site Quilt in a Day for 27 dollars for 20 fat quarters. That was a fantastic buy and love the patriotic theme of the prints. Red, White, Blue and yellow.

There's an 8 month BOM kit called American Heritage from www.quiltingatthecherrypit.com and the pattern by itself is available from www.bitsnpieces.net. I just ordered the BOM and that flag pattern from Bits 'n Pieces.
