Looking for source for woven labels
#1
I remember years ago buying little 1x2 woven labels to sew into the clothing I made. Does anyone still use these? Is there a good source to buy these? They used to be on a display rack in the fabric store and they were preprinted: "Made by", "Created by", "Made with Love by". Then you'd look for your name and there were maybe 15 labels in the package. My name is so common that they always had labels with my name.
I've been making some tote bags and would love to put a label inside. I don't see them in my LQS or at JoAnn's. Hancock's used to carry them but since all the Hancock Fabrics in Michigan were closed, I can't find them any more. I don't need 100 of these, just maybe 15 or 20.
If anyone orders these, please let me know where you get them. Thanks. Kathy B

I haven't ordered from this site but I've been thinking about it, they seem reasonable. http://www.namemaker.com/productcart...?idCategory=19
If you google "custom fabric labels" you'll find other sites that sell these as well.

It has been a really long time but I think Mary Maxim may have had these with peopl's names on them. I have seen some recently at Hobby Lobby, but they were general (From Grandma or With Love).
