Mine are long but with yellow plastic heads. I would NEVER go back to the shorter ones to use for anything! I buy them at Walmart, Hancocks, JoAnn, pretty much anywhere. I don't worry about brand and have never had any problems with any of them.

Agree.
I have used these for years the best pins on the market.
I have both sizes I use the shorter ones for most projects they don't bend as easily Try them.
