It is indeed quite a beauty!!! Beautiful piecing. As for the feathers.....I am still aspiring to those. I don't have that skill yet.....still trying but it's going slow for me!!!

I don't have any suggestions for the quilting; I just want to say I think your quilt is gorgeous! I love the colors and the pattern. Is it a Judy Martin pattern? She's designed several that combine stars and log cabin blocks. I don't blame you for keeping it! :thumbup:

This isn't really a pattern --- I've seen almost 100 different ways to set log cabin blocks; they play well together once you have a big enough pile of them to move around. I picked up the border technique in a class. I immediately thought of the star medallion center.
I appreciate all your comments and kudos --- you make me blush. I might have to post pictures of my latest postage stamp size TATW quilt when it's done. Thanks!

Brilliant quilt...I am a beginner machine quilter too, but those feathers sure look good (and terribly difficult!). Please, please post pictures of your postage stamp...
