Default Looking for Sunburst Quilt Info

I have a photo of a great and challenging (to me) sunburst quilt block. I have done much more simple foundation paper piecing, but I am literally going crazy trying to figure out what I need to do to piece the 4 sided red diamonds in the sunburst below with all the seams smoothly on the backside. (It doesn’t have to be FPP).

I have spent hours looking online for a solution or information on piecing this sunburst, but I can’t find anything. It could be that I don’t know the right “buzz words” to generate a useful search.

Any help at all on pointing me to books, lessons, or videos where I could learn how to complete this amazing sunburst would be greatly appreciated!

***Sorry, “attachments” are not working. Will try again.

Attach your photo to the paper clip, not the picture icon. After you "choose your photo" make sure to go to the right hand side and upload the photo....many of us forget to do that.

Thanks! The screen on my IPad is rather small, and I didn't even think of scrolling to the side. The Webmaster has me in lockout to edit my post, seems I exceeded the 20 minutes of editing time after posting. If I can't fix it, I'll copy to a new post.

The image file size needs to be less than 2MB.

Huh? Your website says 5 MB. You might want to update your website.

Totally intrigued ... and hope you figure out how to get your pic uploaded here.
Though I am no hope in the how to ... I gave up on posting pics on this site, a long time ago!

If you do get it figured out, just do it as a new post to this thread, rather than start a new.

Totally Weird about the photo .... your post says it was posted at 4:45pm.
Yet when I posted at 6:09pm ... your duplicate post/words were there, but no sign of a photo.
Thus my post at the time.

As for the piecing of your sunburst ... me-thinks this is meant for the good ol'fashioned, really ol'fashioned method of hand piecing, along with hand applque!

    It is beautiful!!
