Default Looking for two for one pattern

Last year I made several sets of projects from a pattern called Serendipity. In the process of making the units for one table runner, you create units that can be used to make a second project. I'm looking for ideas for a new "two for one" project. Anyone know of a pattern like that?

You can get bonus half-square triangle blocks from making a snowball block. Just do a second seam 1/2" closer to the corner. You won't get 2 quilts for one, because the half square triangle blocks are small.

The new American Patchwork and Quilting has a pattern for a quilt and table runner. Just came out, so must be the Nov/Dec issue.

Eleanor Burn's day and night quilt makes an additional project from the scraps.

I believe that Missouri Star has a pattern fitting that name and description.

I learn something new almost every time I get online. I'm going to check these patterns out. It would be great to cut out two projcts at once.

The Thrifty Quilter book by Ann Wiens shows examples on what can be done with excess fabric cut after making sections of blocks. Highlights 3 pieces that can be turned into 80 different blocks. There are several full-color examples of quilts also. The book is available online.

One of the jelly roll books makes 2 from 1. Sorry forgot title.
I always turn triangles into squares etc. but sometimes I don't want same colour combo again.
