Hey all!

I'm thinking about purchasing a 830 after a settlement check from Walmarts comes in. Please give me your opinions why or why not to purchase this machine.

I currently have the 440QE and love the machine. I also have the embroidery unit and bsr but haven't used the bsr yet.

I think there are several threads on QB about the 830. Put Bernina 830 in the search box and some should come up. I also have the 440 QE and love it. Some people love the 830, some people hate it. I looked at it but frankly it just scared me. I am computer challenged and I was afraid of messing up such an expensive machine.

A few people have had some problems, like me. But no, I don't hate my 830. LOL. I love it. I'd buy it again:> Do a search here as suggested.

I have sewn on one several times. It is a great machine but I wasn't impressed enough to pay that much for it. I have a Bernina and it sews a seam just as nice as this new. There are features on my older Bernina that I have never used and there are the same as well as new features on the new Bernina I wouldn't use either. I think I'll wait for the next new Bernina model to see what it offers.

I have the 830 and love it. I love the Jumbo hoop and have used the differential feed. Have had it for about 2 years, but just now have started really using it.
