    Default Looking for a vendor!

There was a vendor at the AQS Show in Knoxville, TN a couple of years ago that sells salesman's fabric sample swatches. She told me she has a shop that is 3 floors of these samples and sells them. The shop was in North Carolina, GA, KY, or South Carolina, I think. Does anyone know who I am talking about and where this shop is? The swatches were small maybe about 18" X 18" in coordinating fabric. They were something like .50 cents and up. They were interesting!
Any help you can give me would be appreciated!

Ooh, I hope someone knows the answer. I was in a local quilt shop once that had one of those sets. It was all Beatles fabric -- so cool! The store owner got them from her sales rep and sold them as remnants. I'd love to have a regular source for that!

Did you ever get the name of the shop? I would love to know it too!

No, I could never figure out who it was even after looking back at the lay out of the vendors at the show!

There is a store in AJunction City, Oregon called "Remains of the Day" and they sell left over pieces from their upholstery and drapery business. They do lots of RV's and Motorhomes, and have some luscious fabrics, pre-quilted, satins, animal prints, etc. I always go by when I am there.

Why don't you write AQS and ask them. The person who handles the vendors at their shows may know.

If you kept the show's book, the vendors will be listed. Rule out the ones you know aren't the ones and start calling the others.
