In the past week or so, one of the members kindly had a tutorial showing how to sew bits and pieces onto a strip, then cut and resew for making scrapy quilts. Today I got busy and sewed my scraps - BUT, I've lost the cutting instructions and now don't know how to proceed. Don't laugh at the newbie - but I think I'll go to the basement and take a phot of my scraps and the mess I've made and post it later.

Thanks for the help.

Nobody laughing here. There are all kinds of frustrations and uncertainties when you are just starting.

I did not see that thread but maybe it is in the Tutorials section.

Think it was called something about crumbs and scraps - I've looked through the tuts and it's not there - maybe it was just in a message.

On Quilters Cache, she took adding machine tape and sewed all her scraps to it and made a piano key strip. It looked like a neat idea.
