Hopefully it will show up yet.....I'm sure there were quite a few delays during all the devastation from Irene! Fingers crossed for you!

There's a note (well it was there yesterday) on the UPS site saying deliveries were still delayed due to the storm. I agree with nycbgirl and wait a bit unless you want to make a gift quilt to have in your stash.

Praying it will show up. I'm sure it's somewhere delayed because of the storm, hopefully out of harm's way.

What a bummer. I agree, give UPS time due to storm problems. Otherwise keep after UPS - don't give up. If it doesn't show up, I agree with Sweetpea.

I feel for you.

I would give it a few more days before starting a new one. It might just be delayed.

I sent a quilt to a friend about 8 years ago and it never showed up. Has never been seen since either. After that loss, I made sure to include both addys inside the box and I now use a mailing bag with the information listed on it too inside any box I send. I'm not willing to lose another quilt that way. Oh and I make sure to have delivery confirmation too.

I am so sorry. This is why I always send my important packages UPS. I get a tracking number and can watch it online. I just don't trust the Post Office. I really hope they find it.

I insured it. The rules say you have to fill out a mountain of paperwork and show proof of value! How do you prove the value of something handmade? It is certainly worth more than the $200 I insured it for. That would maybe cover the fabrics but never my time. I am praying that it shows up this week, just delayed by the storm!
