Don't know about that area but there is a great quilt shop in Ithaca called Quilters Corner. It's only a block or two off Route 13 and not very far from you.

Everything is reachable ... just a matter of how much time you are willing to take.

Or do a loop around Lake Ontario, and return to USA via Niagara Falls ....... ooohhhh just think of all the LQS' we could send you to!!! :)

i'M ONLY GOING NORTH FOR 3 DAYS....mostly spent on the water. It would have to be pretty close to our location. My hubby is not a fan of losing "water" time!!!

Get yourself onto our Trent-Severn or Rideau Canal systems ... and you can enjoy LOTS of water time in our great country!

Paul used to spend his summer vacations on the Rideau "chain" as he called it. We did a day party barge rental when our kids were young. Had a ball til the OPP stopped us for open container law. Lucky we met a nice officer who informed us of Canadian law and told us to anchor to have a beer. Wonderful day with our family, fishing, swimming, floating. Just what we do now on the St Lawrence..... minus the alcohol, minus the kids, (unless they come with their kids!)
