Plans have changed - Please show me your Charlie Brown Quilts
Well, I thought my co-worker's new baby theme was going to be Winnie the Pooh but I was wrong. They are going with a Charlie Brown theme. Has anyone made a Charlie Brown quilt that I can see. I've search the web under images but nothing has really stood out to me yet. I'm thinking I would like to incorporate a yellow zigzag like the stripe on Charlie's shirt. Maybe as the border...not sure yet. I need inspiration.

just went to google,
they showed a lot of quilts yellow and black with the zig zag in black like the CB shirt. some of them were more themed, Christmas or Halloween. maybe you can download a CB pic and print it out on fabric to put in the ctr of a star block, something like that maybe?? Good luck with this one. Please, show us what you end up doing. you could draw a big maybe 2 feet tall Charlie Brown and applique him to the top of the quilt, or do all the characters, appliqued on.

Also found pdf files for CB characters: http://tweloquilting.blogspot.com/p/...s.html#peanuts

I made a Peanuts quilt using the wonky blocks pattern in bright colors with a scrappy binding, no border. It was easy and went together really fast. There's still Peanuts fabric out there but I don't know if there's any with just Charlie Brown. Another idea if you do machine embroidery would be to embroider the center of whatever blocks you make, I know there are Peanuts embroidery designs out there and there's an old machine with Peanuts designs built into it.
