Best way to go (or get thrown kicking and screaming) outside your comfort zone.

If someone sent that to me, I'd happily take up the challenge.

Looking forward to seeing the results.

I would be less surprised if she had picked the fabric first! She has great taste and never loses patience with my matchy-matchy views. In fact, the fabric I have in mind is VERY matchy-matchy!

Can't wait to find out what's next.

That's part of the joy of Mystery Quilts ... you pick the fabric, though you don't know what it will become.

One of our LQS' often does a Mystery Day ... and also sometimes has a Mystery Quilt with their retreats.

Just signed up for another Mystery Quilt that's 8 monthly instalments. Went thru my stash to find the 3 fabrics that I needed, though had to purchase one of the 3. Thankfully, I had the first two! Hope this weekend to start my cutting and sewing for Month #1.

Have FUN! Will look forward to seeing the results!
