Sounds like it will be fun! A gal who works where I frequently shop told me the store owner did something like that with the gals who work in the store...in order to finish her design of a pattern. It was kind of an experiment to see if her instructions were written clearly for people of various sewing skill levels to follow. They had a lot of fun with it and I am sure you will, as well! Be sure to let us know how it goes!!!

Very intriguing.(sp?) I've seen mystery quilts in monthly installments in Quilter's Newsletter Mag. but not heard of a mystery project before.
Did you have to buy the fabric at the store where she works? Does she want to display them in the store when you are finished?
Was this a challenge for both of you to gain confidence in selecting fabrics on your own?
Post pictures; fabric selection and then project when finished. Very interesting indeed.
