Machine embroidered label on flannel quilt

I've made a baby quilt from flannel & would like to know if flannel is acceptable for machine embroidery even if it is properly fused.
If not, I guess I'll just use cotton like I usually do in a complementary color.
Thank you

I don't know how an embroidery machine would handle the flannel. I would just use a complementary color of cotton.

That's what I'll do. Thanks!

I've made flannel labels, I use a fusible interfacing to stabilize the fabric, works great.

Flannel works just fine as long as you use an appropriate stabilizer and don't stretch it too much while hooping.

I have done this as well. Stablizer makes it work.

Make sure you prewash the flannel before stabilizing & embroidering it...it'll be fine.
