Thats the way to go. I havenīt used pins but either use tacking, working from the centre outwards, around every 4" and sometimes I use a basting gun. Keep pinning and smoothing. Good luck :D

YEs, the 'loads of pins' worked for me too, I have just finsihed my first ever quilt and had no wrinkes. Although one lesson was learnt - I will buy some safety pins for my next project as the normal pins resulted in a lot of 'owwies' as I worked! D'oh! :wink:

Do you even use loads of pins if you use basting spray?
