You're right- they are fun!!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who chimed in.[ATTACH=CONFIG]598789[/ATTACH]

I used really thin paper and a shorter stitch. Tearing wasn't a problem.
These fabrics are from the Log Cabin I just made and sent to the LA
Can't wait to show you when I get it back.

Oh how great!!! sometime back I bought some papers from MSQlts and I just found them again. I usually just sew strips without any foundation. i guess I will use them someday soon. Keep on going!!!!

Maybe I'll wallpaper my whole house with them

I love making strings as well however I don't buy special paper. I like not being restricted to the size of the paper so I just get a box of parchment paper at the dollar store. I don't recall how many squares I got out of each box but I think it's 12 1/2 inches so that is what I use pretty much, unless I want to make them smaller. Your strings are very pretty.
