Take a picture of one really lousy piecing bit that you've done (before you "unsew" it) Keep it near your machine and look at it again in a few months, then in a year. You'll be amazed and so glad you stuck with it!

We've all been there. I just can't get the hang of machine quilting. Maybe it's my machine. May I blame it on that...I think not. But, greetings anyway,have patience and use the right pressure foot. It will work out.

I think every project has an "ugly duckling" stage ---- when I just want to wad it up, throw it in a box and forget about it! LOL
After struggling to finish a few "ugly ducklings" - I was surprised to see how nice they looked when finished. Now I just sigh and tell myself "This ugly duckling will grow into a beautiful swan, be patient and finish the quilt, you will love it in the end." It works for me everytime! :D
