red, white, and blue might be nice. IMHO, you can't go wrong with patriotic colors. Good for girl or boy :) We didn't know boy or girl when we picked out stuff for our children, so we went neutral too. Both ended up being girls, but my baby girl had a red,white, and blue theme. Suited her nicely! My older daughter had a farm animal theme. It also worked out perfectly. Congratulations! I know you'll make the perfect quilt for your little one, no matter what colors/theme you choose!
