Default Quilters select or Martelli rotary cutter?

I am trying to decide between the two. If you have either, please share likes and/or dislikes. If it matters, I am right handed.

Thanks for for your Help!

There is a learning curve to the Martelli cutters, but they are worth it. I use mine for long cutting sessions and don't get the fatigue that I do with the other cutters. It feels very natural in the hand. One thing to note is that they are not ambidextrous; you must buy a right or left cutter, but they are color coded. I have never used any of the QS products.

I have the Martelli and really like it. I didn't experience a big learning curve, maybe just a little one. But I also like my Olfas. Bottom line is I like what is within hands reach

I have never used the Martelli cutter. I have the QS one and I like it. It's weighted so not much pressure is needed for cutting. Here is a video about the cutter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bE2o1b5wXm0

I'm a Martelli fan all the way. I LOVE all my Martelli products. I found that the moment I picked up the cutter, it was perfect. I have problem holding the other cutters so they cut properly. The Martelli has a very natural feel for me.

I don't have a QS cutter but use only QS mats and ruler. I absolutely love them.

FYI - Martelli will have a big 4th of July sale; most items will be 50% off July 4 - 8. You can make a wishlist on their website to be prepared, lol.

I tried the Martelli, yes there is a learning curve, but the little spring broke in mine within 2 months. I tried out the the QS at the quilt shop and fell in love. That cutter along with their ruler was like cutting through soft butter. I haven't tried the mat, but love the rulers. I will save up for the cutter, as it is a bit pricey.$60 I think she said.
