I recently asked your opinions on using a walking foot. Thank you, thank you for your words of encouragement. I pulled it out of the box, played with it a while and this a.m. I not only put the binding on a quilt, but also did the stitch in the ditch and finished it! Much to my surprise, the corners were perfect and not one pucker anywhere. Why on earth would I ever want to hand bind a quilt again? I have been converted!! Thank you so much!!!!

So for anyone else that has not used their walking foot....please do. What a great way to start the new year with a new quilting idea that I thought I'd never use. I am one happy quilter!!!

    Happy New Year everyone!!!

DH just had me order one the day after Christmas along with a FMQ foot. They've been shipped and I'm anxiously awaiting their arrival! :-)
