Marti Michell "B" templates -ohio star

I have the template set B, but don't know how to make a 12" ohio star block. There is a square in a square in the middle of the block. Help? Thanks!

Using FromMartiMichell templates set B to make Ohio Star

To make an Ohio Star using FromMartiMichell template set B, you need template 8 for the center square and 4 corner squares. The quarter square units to make the star point units in the block use template 11. Do not make a square in a square in the center block.
