    Default McKenna Ryan fans

I just picked up the April issue of American Patchwork quilting magazine. It has a nice 3 page story about her as well as the pattern for a sweet little wallhanging called Feather Your Nest. I love her patterns but I don't have the patience for a big quilt. 12 X 12 sounds like a nice little spring project and I can hardly wait to get started!

Funny, post was gone for a day and now it's back. Must have been a bug in the QB system?

Thanks Tartan, I love McKenna's designs. I remember watching her for the first time on Simply Quilts with Alex Anderson years ago and loving her work.

The link to the quilt is my quilt. I added borders to the quilt instead of mounting on a cavas. I chose soft colors for the borders to bring the design out. The borders accent the design but do not overshadow the softness of the scene.
