MDF Classics fabric
Sorry made a typo above. Supposed to be MDG Classics.
I'm a big fan of Marshal's Dry Goods Dream Cotton fabric, but have not been too enthralled with their MDG Classics fabrics for both looks, feel and fear of not holding up to very many washings. However it is becoming harder and harder to locate cute fabrics now that are on sale, and even those have increased to $6.95 a yd.
So I was looking back on some of Marshall Dry Goods MDG Classics, and there are some newer blended Classics that are attractive. I did order another Country Floral print from them recently, and noticed a change in the feel of the fabric. I think it is still a light weight fabric, but it's texture has changed to a softer texture. (less rough) I would consider using some of them for both backing and piecing IF I thought it would hold up to washings and fading.
Can anyone shed some light on their experience with it? Again I am not talking about their Dream Cotton, nor the name brand fabric they also carry but the cheaper $4.95 fabric.
