I need help on deciding the best way to make a memorial quilt for my DD best friend who lost her baby when he was just a month old. She would like me to use his clothes blankets and booties. I told her about using pictures and just make the blocks using the fabric from all. My problem is deciding on a block to use any ideas would be most helpful. thanks Jan

How about Hole in the Barn Door?

You can put pictures in the center.

Awhile back someone here posted a memory quilt using baby clothing, the clothing was actually the whole item. It was adorable!

I really liked this quilt also. That is what I would do for her.

Did his nursery have a theme? That might be one place to start.
I'm so sorry for your DD's friend; we lost a niece at 4 months, and you just can't put into words...

These are an example you might draw inspiration from.

I couldn't imagine losing a baby, how sad for them.

I thought this quilt is quite sweet.
