Default Mental block on batting- Help please!

I am in a brain block! My quilt measures 49"x61". My batting is 90" wide. I cut my batting a 1 3/4 yd. It's long enough, a little too long but not wide enough. May I kindly call upon your brain cells to get my issue solved?

Machine, hand, or longarm quilting? Each needs different amount of inches bigger than the top.

Turn it the other way. It will be too big both ways but it will fit

36+27=63 inches

So if you cut the dimension along the width of the batting, how long was your piece of batting? If it is shorter than 49" long (or 51" so you have a 2" overflow), then your batting will not fit the size of the quilt.

Update: I got it taken care of!! I put the 61 length on the 90 length and added 6" to the width (of fabric) so I've got them wrapped on a pool noodle. Now I have to do the backing. Thanks everyone for taking the time to read and help me!!! You all ROCK!!
