I love receiving fabric, to make a quilt, then giving away. Sometimes I make for family, but most go to QOV and CASA. Some here on QB have ‘donated’ to the cause and I anxiously make up a quilt to show what I’ve made with their discards. There is a lady in my group that brought in ‘free’ fabrics a while back. She was given and brought 9 boxes in! Man’s wife died and he gave to Carol. I took all the black and white and it was enough to make a queen sized quilt. It’s here on forum called Papa’s Delight, so I understand your haul.

I am using up my stash for mainly the foster kids in my county. I only buy backing fabrics and remnant to use in the scrappy quilts.
