    free pattern online listed as Mexican Star is usually a variation on the Kansas City Star pattern by Ruby McKim. You can find other free pattern versions by checking for 'Mexican Cross' also. =)

    It's a beautiful pattern, I just googled images for mexican star quilt pattern and saw some other lovely colour combinations as well.

    I live your colors. Burgundys is one of the colors I work with alot and Ithink I am going to use burgundies and cream for mine too.
