    Default Mickey depre hexies

Just finished my first try at one of her cute hexie design...fun indeed! But, found the size ( 3 1/2")of that pieced square to really be shy at four of the corner miters-- the widest part of the hex.... So I think the next one I try I am going to cut the outside pieces of fab a bit larger to give a better seam allowance on the backside. Has anyone here done these? Found the same thing? What is your solution? Or just carefully baste and just go for it!

Hadn't heard of her before. No wonder you use such a large hexagon. Interesting but too modern for me. Thanks for the post.
