The green border gives the quilt a softer look, but I like the orange as it gives the quilt a "pop", and something different.

I guess it all depends on the effect you are going for. Personally I like the light green as it gives it a restful palette. If the quilt is for some one who likes bright than the orange one.

I like the green, it seems to fit better with the feel of the quilt. The orange is too jarring and calls too much attention to itself.

I like the green and would use the orange as the binding to add color, the green is softer.

Just my humble opinion.

I agree w/this and would also use it for the binding. I would use a more subdued orange. I think that one is too bright.

Now this answer is a strange one for me as I do not like green & love orange, but I think the orange is to bright for the rest of the quilt. I think the green would make the rest of the quilt blend better & maybe do the binding in the orange. It is an awesome quilt.

]I think the green looks more consistent with the quilt. The orange stands out too much.[/QUOTE]

I agree with charsuewilson......the orange is way too bold for this quilt.

The light green looks to me like there's a gap in the fabrics. If the green was the same color as the green leaves and mushrooms in the amimal print, I'd like it.

OTOH, the orange is a bit harsh. I'd probably have chosen the leaf green or the blue.

I think definitely the orange. It brings the brights out more without overpowering.
