Your quilt is simply stunning! Yes, everyone shares so freely; I'm like you; having learned so much and am very grateful. I am so lucky to have found this board. It is great fun! I agree with you completely.

Your pinwheels are awesome! And I really love Tweety. I had an older gentleman tell me to make my HST this way at a yard sale we recently had (i had some of my rag quilts hanging up) and he talked on and on about this exact technique. I had never heard of it before. Thanks for refreshing my memory and reassuring me that it is "easy". I can't wait til we get settled in our new home so I can unpack everything and get to sewing again!!! You just keep on quilting girl - your work is lovely!

This works - I tried in for a baby quilt I am making (actually 2 - Twins) The only thing I found is it is a little hard to figure how big the squares should be for say a 71/2 or 8" square. The good thing is if it too big it can be cut to size.
