If your strips are long enough, you can just recut them,

they are small though, I hope it was just the one seam on each of them

the blocks are multi directional, if you have enought for the pattern, they could just be turned, it is just the direction of the strips that change, not the pattern of light and dark

poor Ducky and her keyboard. you might want to get one of those pastic protectors for it, I was thinking of suggesting it to Ninnie as well as she has the same problem
