    When doing mitred potholders do you need to start in the middle of a side instead of starting at the corners?

    Yep, you don't want to have a bulky seam in the corner on any project :D:D:D

    Do you mean for binding? I don't bind them. Like coasters and bookmarks, I think potholders are too small to bind so I do them with an envelope (aka pillowcase) finish. Works for me!

    Do you mean that you sew it and flip it? (or turn it outside right?)

    If you turn it inside out, Many just top stitch around the edges and it almost looks like binding :wink:
