They’re very nice. I made many sets last year and decided last December to give them to every house on our street, emphasizing I was not wishing to start a gift exchange, I just wanted to share my stack. Almost everyone assured me it was something they needed badly but just never remembered to buy for themselves. Also give them to places that equip people with free household items. They so appreciate them.

The donated ones are going to a special needs camp. The others are going to friends... but i love your idea of gifting the neighbors!

Those are really nice looking pot holders, so much so that I wouldn't want something to happen to them. Every one of my pot holders have either a stain that won't come out or it's burnt. Hopefully whoever you gift these too will be better with them then I am with mine.

AprilM, are they hard to do using the denim on the back. What do you put inside, I have some denim right now from a pair of jeans that could be put to good use. Actually I need some new ones as mine are getting too thin.

Farmquilter - they arent hard at all! For the batting i use Insulbright. The quilt sandwich gets a little thick with the jeans, batting and fabric - just lighten up on the presser foot pressure if you can and go slow! You can do it! 😊
