I just bought this totally gorgeous fabric. My intention is to do a
Black, White & Red All Over quilt. Obviously, due to the size of the flowers, I need a larger block. Any ideas for a pattern that won't interfere with the larger flowers?

How about this? You could use that print for the wider strips, a white tone-on-tone or a white/black print, and then a red for the narrow stripe?

BEAUTIFUL fabric!

You're welcome JackieG. I've made several of these and it's easy to alter the size by cutting the strips longer, or by changing the width of the stripes to get the length you want.

Got it at JoAnn's -- went to red tag at $3 per yard and I got it for $1.50 per yard. What a deal. It's excellent quality fabric. Find it while you can and if you need the sku # I can get it from my receipt.

Thanks, Julie. I've actually started a DP9 using only 3 prints. I haven't finished enough 9s to know what it will look like, but I think if I center the black, it might work.

I am in love with Sampler quilts at the moment, so I would suggest a sampler quilt, using this this fabric in parts of all the blocks and 15 inch blocks would show it off so well and them a border also of the fabric.

I have no suggestions but I love that fabric. I can't wait to see what you decide to do.
