Personally, I never liked white and cream mixed together BUT I have seen a lot of quilts recently that are changing my mind!

A lot of the neutral fabrics are white on cream. Does that tell us something?

I remember when "Blue and green should never be seen".

I believe there are no rules, and today I saw a stone in my back yard that I notice is changing to a mix of white and cream. I say if Mother Nature thinks it's okay, so do I.

I love them together. It makes for an elegant quilt.

JMHO but I never use white in any quilt, or haven't so far.
I did get the perm water color pencils and might use just white for that....
