I like the center a lot - the lavender and purple latticing is awesome!

The fabric you bought for the border does pick up all the colors of the butterfly prints - and I think it would be great for the back.

I agree with the majority of the others that it would detract from the center.

Your quilt is beautiful, so many beautiful colors -- but I think the border fabric you suggested is far too busy. I would suggest something in a solid color.
