No I don't think I would attempt to teach that. I still have questions on where to start the seams. I have a big pile of things that did not pass the measurement test. And besides, I already sold the first one. I will have a machine quilted purple and green (see it on The Last Stitch by Harriett Carpanini) she just finished it. and this one will still be a top.

I'm off on a new adventure now. The dahlia awards dinner is to be held in my town, first time! And we are hosting the Midwest conference next year. So we just gotta have a giant dahlia quilt...don't you think. Wish you were here. I need a trip to Lolly's, Yoder's and Essenhaus.

I'm searching for a fabric that looks like dry lawn out of focus.

How about calling Fabric Utopia? They can send you pics of what they have and mail it through their Etsy store. I will be up there in late November but not sure if I will have time for a visit. When is the dahlia show?

Beautiful quilt! I'll have to find the pattern. Everything looks good to me, too!

Gasp!!! It's spectacular! I love, love, love it! Making the stars in gold really took it over the top.

All of your blocks and orientations look right to me. I hope everything fits together perfectly when you get to assembling. Good job, Marcia!
