I have a lot of machines (16) some for sewing, some just for enjoyment, some to admire they are all my" Lady's & Gent's". I have had a passion for them for many years. I have my Grandmother treadle the machine I learned to sew on before I could reach the peddle. Many memories in my machine .

My newest is an embroidery/sewing machine that gets used only when I need embroidery or specialty stitches. For plain zigzag, I use my mother's old White from the 60s. For piecing and other straight stitching, I trade off between my Singer 201, featherweight or 99. My Singer 66 is set up for FMQ. My 15" Bailey is for quilting full size quilts. My treadles don't really get used much because they're in an inconvenient spot.

I have mine set up so I am sewing on one and doing embroidery on the other...it gets pretty boring just watching the embroidery machine.

I have more than one , but the two that are in use most are the Vintage Singer mounted in a cabinet with a good old fashioned knee control ... love the speed , love the horsepower for thick stuff. The other is a newish viking computerized , that machine is set up with the project of the day specialized feet and needles. The vintage singer I can only get one type and size of needle so when I want to use some of the fabulous threads I need different needles .
It is so handy to have two machines set up at the same time. But I do alot of "power sewing" !

I have more than I need! Kinda got carried away! Lol. My 15-91 is for piecing with a 1/4" foot, the singer has a walking foot, the viing has a quilting foot- haven't used it yet! Then I have walmart brother with walking foot so if I want to stop quilting one blanket and work on another, a singer rose I've not used yet and another old singer down.In basement waiting for friend! Whew! That's a lot for me!!!

I use my Juki TL-98 Q all ther time for piecing and FMQ. My Janome 6600 is used very seldom but have it set up close by to use when I don't want to bother to change thread. I do have 3 vintage machines that sew very nicely but they mostly just keep me company....I love those pretty black ladies. I also have a 1950's Bernina and a White that I do not use at all. The Bernina was my mothers and the White had been bought long ago by my hubby for a Christmas present. I consider myself very lucky to have these machines for without sewing my life just wouldn't be the same.

I have 3 machines.
I have a Baby Lock strait stitch on a frame.
My Viking Sapphire 830 for piecing.
A $129 Brother that was my first quilting machine and is now a backup when my Viking is in for servicing.

I have 19 in my studio that I have allotted to use and I have 10 or so here in the house that are collection only and are too rare or nice to be used. Then there are the ones in the garage (lost count) that need to be refurbished and slipped into their appropriate spots.
