I am getting ready to start a small, maybe bigger lap size for my Ex-MIL who doesn't get around very well anymore, she is a great lady and deserves something to help keep her comfortable

WIP - I like how it is coming out. Next time I will add a few larger prints. Half done...

Done...I wasn't going to add a border since I did the brown border but think I may...next weekend I will do a border, sandwich and bind. I have two to finish. Thankfully one is a gift for the month of April and the other in May. I also just finished a quilt for a gift in July...Wow...What an awesome feeling...I still need to make a wall hanging for me and the hubby...I am trying to do some type of quilt project each month for us instead of giving everything I make away.

I was thinking of making a quilt for my mom this spring. Going to see her Memorial weekend. I recently (last week) got the Yellow brick road pattern after reading a posting on the board that someone used it because they had to do a quilt rather quickly and it was quick to piece.

I took a class and made a quilted shawl. Made it with last year's Moda Valentine's fabric. Decided to give it to my Mom for her birthday/Mother's Day (close together).
